About Word Tools

Last updated:

Word Tools is a collection of free text and developer utilities that run entirely in your browser: a case converter, text cleanup, counters, font generators, JSON and Base64 tools, and tools made for specific languages. It is built and run by ArtWeb, a web studio that develops fast, SEO-ready websites.

Why we built it

Most text tools on the web are written for English speakers. If you need Title Case rules for Spanish, a word counter that understands Japanese, or a tool that writes an amount in words in Russian, you usually end up on a page translated by machine, with English examples and English rules. We wanted one site where each tool works properly in your language and explains itself in it.

The second reason is privacy. People paste contracts, emails, code and passwords into these tools. None of that needs to reach a server, so on Word Tools it never does.

How Word Tools works

  • Everything runs on your device. Your text is processed by JavaScript in your browser. It is not uploaded, logged or stored on any server. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
  • Written for each language. Every language version is written for that language, with its own examples and rules, not translated word for word.
  • Free. The tools are free to use without an account. The site will be paid for by ads shown below the tools, never between your text and the result.
